Cron expression builder
Build a cron schedule from plain choices, check it is valid, and read it back in plain English — no cron syntax to memorise.
Fill in each field, or start from a preset. Fields: minute (0–59), hour (0–23), day of month (1–31), month (1–12), day of week (0–7, where 0 and 7 are Sunday).
How to use Cron expression builder
- Build a schedule from plain choices — minute, hour, day, month, weekday.
- Check the expression is valid.
- Read it back in plain English to confirm it means what you intended.
A good use for this
Writing a cron schedule for a server job, a backup, or a report without memorising cron syntax.
Limits
The builder explains a schedule; it does not compute the next run dates, and it does not run anything — the schedule still has to be installed where the job actually runs, and cron dialects differ slightly between systems.
