Image to ICO / favicon generator
Turn an image into a multi-size favicon set (PNG sizes plus a real .ico file) for a website.
How to use Image to ICO / favicon generator
- Choose an image.
- Generate the favicon set.
- Download the PNG sizes and the .ico file, and add them to your website.
A good use for this
Creating the browser-tab icon set for a website from a single logo image.
Limits
A good favicon needs a simple, bold design — a detailed photo shrinks into an unreadable blob at 16 pixels, however it is converted.
