PDF to Excel
Extract the text from a PDF into a real .xlsx spreadsheet file you can open in Excel, in your browser.
How to use PDF to Excel
- Choose a PDF file.
- Extract its text into a spreadsheet.
- Open the .xlsx file in Excel and check the columns before using it.
A good use for this
Turning a table trapped in a PDF into rows and columns you can sort, filter, and calculate with.
Limits
Only the text is extracted — scanned pages with no text layer yield nothing useful, and complex layouts may not land in neat columns. Always check the spreadsheet against the original.
