Mute video
Remove the audio from a video in your browser. The video engine produces a muted MP4 where it loads; if it cannot load, the tool re-records the video without audio in your browser's supported recording format instead.
Muted in your browser with ffmpeg: the audio stream is stripped (-an) and the result is a real MP4. Nothing is uploaded. If the engine cannot load, the page falls back to a browser re-recording and says so plainly.
How to use Mute video
- Choose a video.
- Remove its audio in your browser.
- Download the muted video and play it to confirm it is silent.
A good use for this
Sharing a video without its original sound — for example, before adding your own narration elsewhere.
